Chapter I

A large part of Chai would probably always be Trecouri in nature and instinct. It was what he had been born as after all. It was that part of him which made him so logical, so dubious towards displaying emotion, no matter how deeply he felt it, but with Schae... She spilled him over in a way that betrayed logic and even his intuitively maintained self-control. The faintest yet most beautiful smile etched his lips when she asked what he was thinking when he gazed at her as he was. "Different things at different times," he said softly. His hand reached out and fingers caressed her hair and face tenderly, his eyes lost in hers almost as they locked. "Now... I am remembering the way you look now and how you appeared at our wedding, and all reality becomes lost to me... because the only thing that makes sense to me is that I must have died, for there you were, a perfect angel who lifted me up and carried me away with you, and we dwell now in paradise where you have brought me. What other explaination can there be for this..." and passion stole away with his voice, his eyes, his very spirit, "...ache... this agonizing feeling which dares me to remain caged up in this flesh any longer, when I just want to BE in YOU, all the time... all the time." Emotion was painful for him for he felt it so spectacularly for her. He pulled her out of her chair then and into his own lap, legs dangling over the arm of it as he kissed her with all that emotion he had expressed in every part of him that was.
Chai had been so happy that Aurelius had been there when they had wed, for he could not wait for him to return any longer, and the very day of their wedding, there he was, tired, beaten, but happy for them nonetheless, though unsure of Schae because of the origins of her he'd been unable to trace. It was just another setback which sent up red flags in his heart. If he could not unearth her, she had power beneath her, and that made Aurelius worry for Chai, who the King was as protective of as he was over the rest of his sons, however he created them, loins or genomancy. But Aurelius also liked Schae. There was nothing about her he distrusted or doubted, it was where she came from he had to beware. He gave no indications of his reservations though, nor did he question Schae and Chai about it. In time he would, but for now they were happy and he would let them be until their honeymoon was well over.

(03:26:16) LiftTheDarkness: Gods, she loved it when he talked like that, like a poem come to life, just for her. He had a way with words that was so utterly beyond her, and whenever she could coax them out of him, she hung on every syllable. Those drownably dark eyes met his as she felt those fingers brush her cheek, and that smile still played at her lips. She never grew tired of looking at him. She thought he was absolutely beautiful, with the subtle emotions that his face expressed, and that lovely colouring. She often thought he looked a little bit like moonlight would, if it were shaped into a man. A fanciful thought that she'd never shared with him, since she thought silly thoughts like that were meant to be kept secret and giggled inwardly over.
Her arms slid up around his neck as she was pulled into his lap, and she kissed him back deeply. She loved the way he made her feel, when he kissed her like that, like his feelings were somehow flooding her, just through the contact of their lips. He lightly touched foreheads with him afterward, a playful little bump, and smiled. "What a very great lot of things to be thinking, with just one look. However do you manage?" She teased, snuggling happily in against him. She didn't worry about being a little too heavy for him; she was a petite little thing, at five foot nothing, and he never seemed to have any trouble just scooping her up, whenever he took the mind to.
Schae had been happy, too, that Aurelius had made it for their big day, because she had seen how very happy it had made Chai, to have him there. She had been a little nervous around the man at first, since he had a rather imposing presence. But she was a spunky little thing, and she hadn't let a little thing like nerves hold her back! She hadn't sensed any of his reservations about her, and found she had quite liked Aurelius, once she had gotten to know him. #

Chai stood a full twelve inches over Schae which actually turned him on... the smallness of her which begged him to dominate and protect her, and he went strides further to obsess over her. Despite those shadows inside of Melchaiah which made him crave BEING dominated, BEING the sumbissive, owed to his checkered past with the Trecouri Matrons and Lilith... ugh; regardless of and perhaps even in part owed to being a slave to the whims of other females, he did manage the dominant role with a genuine need for it. His head rolled against hers needfully as she rubbed brows with him and he laughed quietly when she teased him about all the thoughts rioting behind his looks. "I am assaulted I do not manage, for I cannot gaze upon you without a storm rolling through my thoughts," he promised her and his hand slid up her thigh beneath her dress and he stripped her of that sheer little bundle of silk between his fingers and her fem treasures, whereof he heaved up beneath her a moment as he pulled down and then kicked off his loose fitting white pants of soft material, fitted for comfort and martial exercise. They also blended into his skin colour. He was wearing no shirt, rarely did when at home, unless expecting company. Chai had an old habit of wearing as little as possible when at home. Laughing wickedly he kissed her throat and he shifted her around to straddle him, and from beneath her placed himself just before thrusting upward with a gutteral growl of celebration as her body closed around his thick length. His breaths staggered at the feel of her and he kissed her all over with hungry suckles and laps. His hunger for her was tremendous. He felt like his need for her unbalanced him completely... just utterly stripped him of ALL logic and sense. "Oh... the gods breaths I love you..." he sang against her lips before sealing them with a burning kiss. He simply... could not... get enough of her.
